Yarn coating

Yes! SK99+ and Sk99 are both made with sk99 dyneema fibers. The difference is in the way they are coated. Standard SK99 is braided then coated on the outside of the line. SK99+ Is yarn coated, then braided which means each of the yarns protects itself!

LINETYPE

  • Type:  SK99+ Dyneema
  • Coating: Yarn Coated
  • Frontline: Deep space (black/white) ~1.55mm
  • Rearlines: Deep ocean (blue/black) ~1.55mm

BREAKING STRENGTH

  • Rearline: 425KG
  • Frontline: 425KG

Did you know breaking strength reduces over time

Over time your line is exposed to UV, Salt, dirt, abrasion and moisture! A very harsh environment for any product! Dyneema lines are made to last long due to the protective coating on the lines. Yet breaking strength reduces over time due to all the above.

Different lines - Different strengths

The breaking strength of Dyneema rope varies depending on several factors, including the diameter of the rope, its construction type (e.g., braided, twisted), and the specific grade of Dyneema (as Dyneema comes in different strengths).

SK99+ PREMIUM DYNEEMA

SK99 fibers are known for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. They have high tensile strength and are extremely resistant to abrasion, making them ideal for demanding applications like ropes, fishing lines, and body armor.

Performance is key

Performance:The low stretch and high strength of SK99 kitelines ensure maximum performance during high-speed and intense kiteboarding sessions. Reliability: The abrasion-resistant nature of SK99+ means these lines can withstand harsh environments without compromising their integrity, offering better longevity compared to traditional lines.
